An electrical connector having a housing adapted to receive at least one conductor of a stripped end of a wire, the electrical connector further including at least one terminal assembly, wherein the at least one terminal assembly includes a retention member adapted to engage the at least one conductor via a push-in wire termination. The housing may be configured with a cap that engages the housing and which can be pressed to permit a respective conductor to be inserted into or removed from a corresponding wire entry port. The cap may include a port through which the at least one conductor passes. The housing may have a first portion adapted to receive an edge of a printed circuit board and a second portion adapted to receive the at least one conductor of a stripped end of a wire.
