Abstract
The present invention relates to a corrugating roller configured with at least two opposing sides, and a corrugated contact surface about an outer face of the roller, the roller characterized in that the roller includes a passageway from one opposing side to another, the passageway configured to allow fluid flow from the contact surface of the roller to at least one side of the roller, according to a further aspect of the invention the corrugated outer surface of the roller is effectively formed by a plurality of discs located about a common axis and each separated from one another by a radial space.
