The present invention provides compounds which exhibit an inhibitory effect on undecaprenyl diphosphate synthase of microbes and thereby they are expected to be used clinically as pharmaceutical agents for infectious diseases caused by bacteria.and having ability of producing an FKI-3368 substance in or on a nutrient medium to accumulate the FKI-3368 substance in the nutrient medium and collecting the FKI-3368 substance from the culture.
