Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition enriched in but not confined to phenolic antioxidants obtained from oil palm, and more particularly this invention relates to a composition for promoting immunity in general and most essentially against Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and HCV related infections. Accordingly, the composition having the said oil palm compounds can effectively inhibit various viruses, further supporting oil palm compounds as one of the broad spectrum antiviral drugs.
