In an alternate embodiment, the present invention is a single-die, low-operating-power apparatus and method for fast parallel correlation of a received digital signal. In yet another alternate embodiment, the present invention is a single-die, low-operating-power apparatus and method for fast correlation of a received digital signal using a hybrid of parallel and sequential methods.
