Abstract
A connector for connecting the end of a chemical tube, a blood tube or a tracheal tube inserted to a human body with that of an external circuit. The connector comprises a male terminal part (2) and a conically-connectable female terminal part (3) composed of an inner cylindrical body (5) and an outer cylindrical body (6) which can rotate relative to each other. On the outer surface of the inner cylindrical body (5) and the inner surface of the outer cylindrical body (6), projected lines (11) and grooves (12) which function as engaging means which can stop the rotation inside the connector by contacting with one another due to elastic deformation of the outer cylindrical body are formed. Accordingly, the conically-connectable rotary connector can be detached easily while a rotation mechanism is provided inside the connector.
