Abstract
A structural sandwich plate member particularly adapted for use as a floor panel comprises first and second outer metal plates and a core bonded to the outer metal plates and arranged to transfer shear forces therebetween, wherein the core comprises: an inner core comprising a corrugated metal plate and a filler material within the corrugations thereof; and an outer core layer of plastics or polymer material bonded to parts of the corrugated metal plate and the outer metal plates.
