Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of epidermal repair. More particularly, the invention concerns the use of a molecule able to inhibit a heteromeric receptor comprising OSMRβ as a subunit, for the preparation of a composition for inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors by the keratinocytes. In particular, the invention concerns the use of antagonists and/or expression inhibitors of OSM, IL-17, TNFα, IL-31, IFN-γ, and/or the OSMRβ subunit, for the preparation of cosmetic or dermatologic compositions, especially for treating inflammatory skin diseases.Methods for obtaining in vitro or animal models of skin inflammation diseases are also disclosed. These models can be used for screening molecules to find new drugs to prevent or treat psoriasis and other dermatitis.
