Abstract
A seat reclining mechanism comprises a guide bracket, an internal gear member coupled to the guide bracket in a rotatable manner about a rotation axis thereof with respect to the guide bracket, a plurality of lock gear members disposed between the guide bracket and the internal gear member, and a rotatable cam rotatably supported by either one of the guide bracket and the internal gear member. The rotatable cam has a cam body, and a plurality of engagement pawls disposed on a circumference of a circle having a center on the rotation axis and each formed to protrude from the cam body in a lock-causing rotation direction or an unlock-causing rotation direction, and each of the plurality of lock gear members has an engagement groove engageable with a corresponding one of the plurality of engagement pawls.
