A pallet storage installation for stock keeping of goods to be stored for use in a ship includes storage rows placed on both sides of a storage aisle, a transport device movable in the storage aisle for storing in and out pallets with a carrier plate into the storage rows, wherein storage rows for forming several store rooms separated by walls which can be separated by walls are placed on both sides of the storage aisle, wherein each pallet is configured as a box with a carrier plate and with side walls, whereby the carrier plate is provided with stands placed in the carrier plate corner areas.
