Abstract
A method and device of treating an enclosed space with a liquid disinfecting agent. A device diffuses small droplets of the liquid into the space and the droplets evaporate to leave gaseous disinfecting agent within the space to be treated. The concentration of the agent within the space may be preferably maintained at or near a saturation concentration for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Operation of the device may be varied to match the atmospheric conditions within the space and the current level of concentration of the agent within the space.
