Abstract

After the instruction, the decoded audio data may be outputted while a frame number N of the compressed audio data is decoded to produce intermediate data for decoding frame number (N+1). Accordingly, decoded audio data corresponding to frame number (N+1) and subsequent frames may be played backed continuous from the frame number N. Thus, compressed audio data can be played back soon after an instruction.
