The methods of the present invention include methods for refilling gaseous hydrogen storage tanks utilizing a cascade fill. The methods of the present invention provide for the efficient refilling of the gaseous hydrogen storage tanks and the efficient dispensing of gaseous hydrogen to hydrogen vehicles.
