Abstract
A method for controlling the production of an apparatus for making drinks which is adapted to be used with a predetermined type of product container has the steps of organising containers in a plurality of packages (90). Each of the packages (90) is associated with an electronic card (100) identifying the predetermined type of container. For each electronic card associated by a user with the apparatus (1), the apparatus checks whether the electronic card associated by the user conforms with the electronic card (100) identifying the predetermined type of container and, if so, enables the apparatus (1) to make a predetermined number of drinks and disables the electronic card (100) for further readings.
