Abstract
The object of the invention is a drive system for a motor vehicle door (1), in particular a sliding door (1). This comprises a drive motor (4) and a connected drive means (6, 7, 8, 9) for moving the motor vehicle door (1) along an opening/closing path (R). According to the invention, a gear (5) or generally a torque converter is provided between the drive motor (4) and the drive means (6, 7, 8, 9), said gear or torque converter acting with different torques on the drive means (6, 7, 8, 9) depending on a respective load and/or signal.
