Abstract
A reciprocating electric shaver that causes an inner cutter 50, while being pressed up from below, to move reciprocally on the inner surface of an outer cutter 16 that is substantially inverted-U-shaped when viewed from the side and is held so as to slide up and down in an outer cutter frame 54 secured to a shaver main body 10, wherein the shaver includes an inner cutter upwardly pushing spring 46 for pressing the inner cutter 50 against the inner surface of the outer cutter 16, and outer cutter elastically supporting members 56 for elastically supporting the outer cutter 16.
