Abstract
A process is claimed for synthesizing compounds, in which solids are reacted with one or more gases, in which the solids are ground above atmospheric pressure in the presence of the gas. To perform the process, preference is given to using a mill with a grinding space (1) which accommodates the material being ground (10), and in which the grinding space (1) can be sealed in a pressure-tight manner even against high internal pressures (P.sub.1).
