Abstract
The invention relates to an improved intraocular lens. According to the invention, the haptic (3) support part (4), elevation view, takes the form of a flat, closed, semi-circular loop having a constant thickness at rest. The proximal end of the loop extends from the distal part of a connecting stalk (5) which extends essentially tangential to the periphery of the optical part (2) and in parallel with the vertical diameter (d1) of the optical part. The haptic (3) support part (4) forms an angle of approximately 30.degree. with the horizontal diameter (d2) of the optical part (2).
