Abstract
Apparatus for processing an input signal comprises a first switching means and a second switching means, the first switching means comprises a first photoconductive switch and the second switching means comprises a second photoconductive switch, wherein the first switching means is switchable between an open state and a closed state in which it is adapted to pass the input signal to an output of the first switching means, the apparatus further comprises storage means connected to the output of the first switching means and to an output of the second switching means and adapted to store an output signal comprising the difference between a signal at the output of the first switching means when in its closed state and a signal at an output of the second switching means.
