Abstract

Compounds of the formula (I) in the form of racemates, mixtures of diastereomers or pure diastereomers, where R.sub.O and R.sub.oo are each, independently of one another, hydrogen, C.sub.1-C.sub.20-alkyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8-cycloalkyl, C.sub.6-C.sub.14-aryl or C.sub.3-C.sub.12-heteroaryl having heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of O, S and N, which are unsubstituted or substituted by C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkoxy, C.sub.5-C.sub.8-cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.8-cycloalkoxy, phenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylphenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkoxyphenyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8-heteroaryl, F or trifluoromethyl; the radicals R.sub.1 are each, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a substituent bound to the cyclopentadienyl rings via a C atom, S atom, Si atom, a P(O) or P(S) group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.02 are each, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom, C.sub.1-C.sub.20-alkyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8-cycloalkyl, C.sub.6-C.sub.14-aryl or C.sub.3-C.sub.12-heteroaryl having heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of O, S and N, which are unsubstituted or substituted by C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkoxy, C.sub.5-C.sub.8-cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.8-cycloalkoxy, phenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylphenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkoxyphenyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8-heteroaryl, F or trifluoromethyl; the two indices m are each, independently of one another, 1, 2 or 3; n is 0 or 1; X.sub.1 is a secondary phosphine group or a cyclic phosphonite group, and X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are each, independently of one another, a secondary phosphine group. The compounds of the formula (I) are valuable ligands for enantioselective catalysts for the hydrogenation of prochiral, unsaturated compounds.
