Abstract

The invention provides a laser processing system in which a heat density accumulated in a base material is computed based on nesting data in order to create an NC program for preventing processing defects. Upon cutting out works W.sub.1 through W.sub.9 from a base material B.sub.1, a nesting area N.sub.1 is defined as a sum of the lengths of lines S.sub.1 through S.sub.4, which is defined as NG.sub.1. A laser processing length dimension of the works W.sub.1 through W.sub.9 is computed by adding the line lengths L.sub.1 through L.sub.4 and the circumferential length C.sub.1 of a round hole and multiplying the result by nine, which is defined as LG.sub.1. The heat density HF.sub.1 is computed as HF.sub.1=LG.sub.1/NG.sub.1, and the heat density is compared with a parameter set in advance in order to determine a processing order for preventing processing defects by heat and to create a corresponding program.
