Abstract
An expanded electronic equipment cabinet includes a frame structure for supporting electronic equipment and a cabinet expansion kit that includes a panel and a plurality of offset brackets. The offset brackets are interposed between the frame support and panel to create space to accommodate accessories connected to the electronic equipment supported by the frame structure. Each offset bracket includes a frame attachment end to mount to the frame structure and an expansion attachment end having a first mounting element for mounting a first oversized panel on the frame structure and a second mounting element for mounting a second oversized panel on the frame structure such that the first and second oversized panels are held at right angles to each other. The offset bracket includes first and second arms, a curved spine, or any of a variety of alternative configurations.
