Abstract
A customer service process for allocating servers to customers comprises receiving a service request (40) that comprises data identifying a requested service grade (44), retrieving from a database a set of selection values (46) for each of a plurality of servers and a set of weighting values (56), wherein the set of weighting values (56) is selected from a plurality of sets on the basis of the requested service grade (44), obtaining a set of weighted selection values (58) for each server by applying the set of weighting values (56) to each set of selection values (46), obtaining from the set of weighted selection values (58) a suitability value (66) for each server, and selecting a server on the basis of the obtained suitability values (66).
