Abstract
There is provided a natural alkaline earth metal carbonate having a d.sub.50 of about 0.5 .mu.m or less and a moisture pick up of less than about 0.2 wt %, as well as a process for making the particulate carbonate by grinding. The carbonate may be used in polymer compositions.
