Abstract
Disclosed is an electroluminescent conjugated polymer end-capped with organometallic complex. The end-capped conjugated polymer may have a partial structure represented by the following formula (I): wherein M is a metal selected from the group consisting of Ir, Os, Pt, Pb, Re, and Ru; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2 may be the same or different and each represent a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group containing nitrogen for forming a coordination bond with M; and n is an integer of from 20 to 50. The end-capped conjugated polymers of the present invention may be used as an electroluminescent medium in a light-emitting element or a light-emitting device.
