Abstract
A container rim attachment has a pre-applied applique. The container rim attachment comprises a carrier with an outer surface and a rim-receiving recess. An attractant applique is applied to the outer surface of the carrier such that there is an adherence between the applique and the outer surface. The adherence between the applique and the carrier is sufficient to withstand conditions associated with shipping, storage, or handling of the carrier and applique without substantial applique degradation. The applique may be an edible applique for use with beverage containers.
