Abstract
A composition comprising a polyarylate-siloxane copolymer, said copolymer comprising arylate structural units having Formula I wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently at each occurrence a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C.sub.1-C.sub.20 aliphatic radical, a C.sub.3-C.sub.20 cycloaliphatic radical, or a C.sub.3-C.sub.20 aromatic radical; 'b' and 'c' are independently integers from 0 to 4; and at least one organosiloxane structural unit, wherein said polyarylate-siloxane copolymer is free of organic carbonate linkages.
