Abstract
A method is disclosed for displaying on a product (1) a reference (30) relating to protective rights that protect a product (1). According to the method, an RFID element (10) is linked to a product (1) and the RFID element (10) contains data on the basis of which at least one protective right indication (30) can be determined. The protective right indication (30) can be downloaded from a remote server (7) over a telecommunication network. The invention also relates to a system having at least one server (7) where protective right indications (30) are stored that correspond to said products (1) and to a database system where one or several protective right indications (30) are stored corresponding to said products (1) and to a database system where one or several protective right indications (30) are linked to at least some of said codes.
