Abstract
The invention relates to a slicing device for slicing foodstuffs (1), in particular, sausages, meat or blocks of cheese with a rotating cutting blade (2), which may be displaced parallel to the rotation axis (3) thereof. The invention further relates to a method for the axial displacement of a cutting blade (2) and the use of axially-displaceable counterweights (4) for stabilisation of the action of a cutting blade (2) on a cutting machine, the use of the axial displacement of the cutting blade (2) of a slicing machine, for adjustment of the initial point and the use of the axial displacement of the cutting blade (2), for adjustment of the wheel gap between the cutting blade (2) and a cutting strip.
