Abstract
To provide an ink jet recording material wherein, in particular, the problem of light fastness of the prints, i.e., the oxidative decomposition of the organic dyes in the inks, is eliminated, the use of chitosan or a derivative thereof is proposed as color-fixing agent in a color-receiving layer of ink jet recording materials.
