Abstract
A system for positioning a first element (3) at an opening (2) of a second element (1) comprises fixing means (7) for fixing the first element (3) to the second element (1). The system further comprises a guide element (4) which is attached by frangible points (5) to the first element (3) until the positioning is completed, said guide element being adapted to the be inserted in interlocking engagement in the opening (2) of the second element (1), thereby attaining a predetermined alignment of the first element (3) relative to the second element (1). Furthermore, the present invention relates to a corresponding method of positioning a first element at an opening of a second element and the use of a positioning system for positioning a spray nozzle holder on a bore provided in a motor vehicle bumper.
