Abstract
The invention relates to compounds selected from: peptides having formula (1): C.sup.(s)--X.sub.1--X.sub.2--X.sub.3--X.sub.4--X.sub.5--X.sub.6--X.s-ub.7-C.sup.(s), wherein the two cysteine residues are linked by means of a disulphide bridge which is represented by symbol C.sup.(s) and X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3X.sub.4, X.sub.5, X.sub.6 and X.sub.7 denote amino acids selected from a determined list; and derivatives of said peptides. The invention also relates to compositions comprising same and to the use thereof as anti-microbial agents.
