Abstract
A formed mat has a high elastic non-woven body and a thermoplastic resin sheet layered on the non-woven body, the non-woven body having high elasticity, a superior shape recovery performance, and sufficient cavities and thickness, thereby acting to heighten sound absorption performance, the resin sheet having non-permeability of air, thereby acting to heighten sound isolation performance. The high elastic non-woven body is 3.0mm or more in thickness, 300g/m.sup.2 or more in weight per unit area, and less than 0.20g/cm.sup.3 in density.
