Abstract
Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and dermatological preparations are described which contain copolymer waxes. The copolymer waxes contain structural units which are derived from .alpha.-olefins having 26 to 60 carbon atoms, from maleic anhydride, maleic acid or salts thereof and optionally from further monomers.
