Abstract
The invention relates to the field of chemistry and more specifically to the field of medicinal chemistry. The invention is directed to N-acyl-dipeptide-like compounds having the general formula I wherein substituents A, B, X, Y, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and subscripts n, m, p and q have the same meanings as those given in the claims. The invention is equally directed to pharmaceutical compositions containing as an active ingredient at least one compound of general formula I either in acid or salt form with an organic or mineral base. The compounds persuant to the invention display interesting pharmacological properties which make them useful as drugs.
