The present invention relates to an air filtration media made from very fine glass fibers having an average fiber diameter within a range from 3.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.times.10.sup.-4 inches, with the media comprising a formaldehyde-free binding agent comprised of a polycarboxy polymer and a polyol to bind the glass fibers together.
