Abstract
Some embodiments of the present invention employ a subwoofer speaker adapted to be recessed within a wall or other building structure. In another aspect of the present invention, an amplifier is adapted to be recessed within a wall or other building structure, and can be employed with the recessed subwoofer or with another component of an entertainment system. In some embodiments, the subwoofer speaker is mounted in a wall cavity and supported therein with brackets. If desired, the amplifier can be supported by a frame within a wall cavity.
