Abstract
An aqueous .beta.-1,3-1,6-D-glucan solution, wherein .sup.1HNMR spectra on its solution containing in 1N aqueous sodium hydroxide heavy solution have two signals of 4.7 ppm and 4.5 ppm and the viscosity (BM type rotary-viscometer, 12 rpm) of its solution at 30.degree. C., pH5.0, and its concentration 0.5% (w/v) is 50 cP ([mPa.s]) or less.
