Abstract
A method for stabilizing a composition having a biologically active EGF as an active ingredient includes the step of adding a carboxyvinyl polymer as a stabilizer of the EGF. The content of the EGF is within the range of 0.1 to 1000 .mu.g/g on the basis of the total weight of the composition, and the content of the carboxyvinyl polymer is within the range of 0.001 to 50 (w/w) % on the basis of the total weight of the composition.
