Abstract
A method of recycling wastepaper that is environmentally sustainable. A wastepaper stream is fractionated into a long fiber stream and a sludge stream. The sludge stream is combusted at vapor temperatures in excess of 1100.degree. F. to create ash. Temperatures in excess of 1700.degree. F. are used to more thoroughly eliminate environmentally harmful chemicals. The sizes of the particles in the ash are reduced and the ash is metered into the long fiber stream. New paper products may be produced using the combined long fiber and ash.
