Use of a compound of formula (I): 1 in which R.sub.1 represents a hydrocarbon radical comprising 7 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 represents the characterizing chain of an amino acid and m is between 1 and 50, or of a mixture of the said compounds of formula (I), as a slimming active agent. Nontherapeutic method of treatment using the said compound and use of the said compound for preparing a medicament with lipolytic activity, intended to induce slimming of the human body.
