Abstract
A filter sector (1) for rotary disc filters comprises two outer walls (4, 5) of filter cloth defining a fitrate chamber (15) for receiving filtrate that has flowed through the outer walls. The outer walls of filter cloth are pleated to form a plurality of ridges and valleys as seen from outside the filter sector. Two liquid permeable support walls (11, 12) that solely support the valleys of the two outer walls (4, 5) of filter cloth, respectively, are arranged in the filtrate chamber and define a filtrate channel (14) with a filtrate outlet (3).
