Abstract
A razor has a head portion to which a blade is mounted, and a soluble lubricating member which is, on the surface of the head portion, located on the upper side of the blade. An exposure surface of the soluble lubricating member is surrounded by a left end and right end extending in the direction of the edge of the blade, and front and rear edges that connect the left end and right end with each other, on both sides thereof in a widthwise direction of the blade. The exposure surface is composed of a plurality of sectional surfaces located between the left end and right end. The sectional surfaces include a maximum sectional surface having a maximum peak portion maximum in height on a predetermined reference plane of height.
