Abstract
The present invention provides siRNA methods and compositions for inhibiting HIV infection and/or replication, as well as systems for identifying effective siRNAs for inhibiting HIV and systems for studying HIV infective mechanisms. The invention also provides methods and compositions for inhibiting infection, pathogenicity and/or replication of an infectious agent; for example, by using siRNAs to inhibit host cell gene expression.
