Abstract
The present invention relates to a synthetic leather free from halogens and prepared with a method characterized in that it comprises the following stages: a) forming, in a mould by means of slush moulding, a first layer, i.e. the visible layer in the finished leather, from a polyolefin composition grafted with silanes and cross-linkable in the presence of water, b) in immediate succession, forming, in said mould by means of slush moulding, a second layer from a polyolefin composition having a semi-crystalline phase with a high melting point not less than 120.degree. C. and preferably not less than 140.degree. C.
