Abstract
A capacitive humidity sensor comprising a humidity sensitive film made of an organic polymer resin and provided on a conductive substrate serving as a lower electrode, a moisture permeable upper electrode provided on the humidity sensitive film, and a lead wire electrically connected to the upper electrode is characterized in that the area for the junction of the upper electrode and the lead wire is 2.5 mm.sup.2 or less and/or 10% or less of the total area of the upper electrode.
