Provided is a preventive or remedy for diseases caused by a cerebrovascular disturbance, which comprises as an effective ingredient a cyclohexenone long-chain alcoholic compound represented by the following formula (1): [wherein, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each independently represents H or CH.sub.3 and X represents a C1.sub.0-28 alkylene or alkenylene group].
