Abstract
A process for coloration of a substrate comprising applying thereto by means of an ink jet printer a composition comprising a medium and a compound of Formula (1): 1 wherein: A is optionally substituted aryl; B is optionally substituted arylene; and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently NR.sup.3R.sup.4, hydroxy, alkoxy or hydrocarbyl; R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently H, alkoxy or C.sub.1-30 hydrocarbyl or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached represent an aliphatic or aromatic ring system. Also claimed are compounds, compositions and inkjet cartridges for use in an ink-jet printer and substrate printed with an inkjet printer.
