Abstract
A filter system having a filter bag in a housing. The filter bag is attached to an inlet flange. The inlet flange has a lip portion located at its edges that rest upon the housing and will contact a lid covering the housing. The lip portion will have an elastomer seal located at the places where it contacts the housing and lid respectively. The elastomer seal is overmolded onto the inlet flange to be an integral part of the inlet flange. A portion of the seal extends from the inlet flange in the direction of the housing. That portion is parallel and in contact with the lid.
