The invention relates to a disposable product (1), in particular a hygiene product which absorbs fluids. Said product comprises an upper layer (2) and a core (4) which absorbs and stores fluids. A fluid distribution and storage layer (6) is located below the core (4), in order to absorb fluid that escapes from the absorbent core as a result of pressure being exerted on said core (4).
